يهدف البحث إلى التعريف بالمؤلف الموسيقي الأمريكي جون استيبان زامينيك والإستفادة من مقطوعاته للبيانو المعدَّة للتعبير عن مشاهد الأفلام الصامتة في إكساب الطلاب التقنيات العزفية بها ومهارات أدائها وتعزيز خيالهم الموسيقي. لذلك رأي الباحث إستخدام مقطوعات البيانو المعدَّة للتعبير عن المشاهد السنيمائية في الأفلام الصامتة للأمريكي جون استيبان زامينيك 1872 – 1953 لإحتوائها على الكثير من التقنيات العزفية والخصائص الفنية التي تُنمَّي خيال الطلاب، وتتمثل أهمية البحث في إكساب الطلاب تقنيات عزفية مقصودة تساعدهم على تنمية خيالهم الموسيقي وإنتقال أثر ذلك على أدائهم في مقرر البيانو والمقررات الدراسية الأخرى، ويفترض الباحث أن إستخدام مقطوعات البيانو المعدَّة للتعبير عن مشاهد الأفلام الصامتة للأمريكي جون زامينيك لإكساب الطلاب تقنيات عزفية مقصودة وبجودة عالية، يترتب عليه وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات طلاب عينة البحث في القياس القبلي/ البعدي في الأداء العزفي لتلك المقطوعات لصالح القياس البعدي، وإتبع البحث المنهج التجريبي ذو المجموعة الواحدة، وتكونت عينة البحث من خمسة مقطوعات من المجلد الأول الذي يضم 25 مقطوعة للبيانو، بالإضافة لمجموعة البحث وعددهم خمسة طلاب بكلية التربية النوعية جامعة بورسعيد. وجائت نتائج البحث توضح فاعلية مقطوعات البيانو المُعدَّة للتعبير عن مشاهد الأفلام الصامتة لجون زامينيك في إكساب الطلاب تقنيات عزفية مقصودة وبجودة عالية وذلك في ضوء مُعالجة البيانات الإحصائية لبطاقة الملاحظة في القياس القبلي/البعدي.
The research aims to introduce the American composer John Esteban Zamenik and to benefit from his piano pieces prepared to express scenes from silent films in providing students with playing techniques and performance skills and enhancing their musical imagination. Therefore, the researcher decided to use piano pieces prepared to express cinematic scenes in silent films by the American John Esteban Zamenik (1872-1953) because they contain many playing techniques and artistic characteristics that develop students' imagination. The importance of the research is to provide students with intentional playing techniques that help them develop their musical imagination and transfer the effect of that to their performance in the piano course and other academic courses. The researcher assumes that using piano pieces prepared to express silent film scenes by the American John Zamenik to provide students with intentional playing techniques with high quality, results in the existence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the students of the research sample in the pre-/post-measurement in the playing performance of those pieces in favor of the post-measurement. The research followed the experimental method with one group, and the research sample consisted of five pieces from the first volume, which includes 25 piano pieces, in addition to the research group, which numbered five students at the Faculty of Specific Education, Port Said University. The results of the research showed the effectiveness of the piano pieces prepared to express scenes from John Zamenik's silent films in providing students with high-quality and intentional playing techniques in light of the statistical data processing of the observation card in the pre/post measurement.
