يسعى البحث الراهن إلى تحقيق مفهوم الجودة في تعلُّم العزف على آلة البيانو عن طريق تطبيق أساليب جديدة غير مستخدمة بكلية التربية النوعية جامعة بورسعيد كأسلوب المؤلف الموسيقي الأمريكي ليو أورنستاين 1839 – 2002 في تعليم العزف على آلة البيانو من خلال المجلد الثاني بعنوان مخطط البيانو Piano Sketch Part II نظراً لما يتمتع به أورنستاين من شهرة عالمية خلال الحقبة الأولى من القرن العشرين كعازف ذو موهبة من الطراز العالمي ظهرت في أداءه لأعمال عظماء الموسيقى الكلاسيكية إلى جانب موهبته الخاصة في التأليف واستخداماته الغير مسبوقة للتألفات العنقودية التي أكسبت مؤلفاته شهرتها العالمية. وهدف البحث إلى التعريف بالسيرة الذاتية للمؤلف الموسيقي الأمريكي ليو أورنستاين وأسلوبه وأهم مؤلفاته وخاصة لآلة البيانو، وإلقاء الضوء على أسلوبه في إكساب العازفين المبتدئين للتقنيات العزفية التكنيكية والتعبيرية التي تؤهلهم للعزف على آلة البيانو من خلال المجلد الثاني، وتحديد التقنيات العزفية في مقطوعات البيانو بالمجلد الثاني والعمل على تحليلها وتقديم الإرشادات العزفية للوصول إلى أدائها أداءً فنيا صحيحاً، وجاءت تساؤلات البحث تدور حول: ما التقنيات العزفية التي اشتملت عليها مقطوعات البيانو عينة البحث؟ وما الإرشادات العزفية المقترحة من قبل الباحث للوصول إلى الأداء الجيد لمقطوعات البيانو بالمجلد الثاني لليو أورنستاين؟ وما الخصائص الفنية للصياغة اللحنية في مقطوعات البيانو بالمجلد الثاني للأمريكي ليو أورنستاين؟ واتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي، واشتملت عينة البحث على تسعة مقطوعات مختارة من المجلد الثاني لتعليم العزف على آلة البيانو.
The current research seeks to achieve the concept of quality in learning to play the piano by applying new methods that are not used at the Faculty of Specific Education, Port Said University, such as the method of the American composer Leo Ornstein (1839 - 2002) in teaching playing the piano through the second volume entitled Piano Sketch Part. II Due to Ornstein's international fame during the first era of the twentieth century as a player with world-class talent that appeared in his performance of the works of the greats of classical music, in addition to his special talent in composition and his unprecedented use of cluster combinations, which earned his compositions international fame. The aim of the research is to introduce the biography of the American composer Leo Ornstein, his style, and his most important compositions, especially for the piano, and to shed light on his method of providing novice players with the technical and expressive playing techniques that qualify them to play the piano through the second volume, and to identify the playing techniques in the piano pieces in the second volume and the work. To analyze it and provide musical instructions to achieve a correct artistic performance, the research questions revolved around: What are the playing techniques included in the piano pieces in the research sample? What are the musical guidelines suggested by the researcher to achieve good performance of the piano pieces in the second volume of Leo Ornstein? What are the technical characteristics of the melodic phrasing in the piano pieces in the second volume by the American Leo Ornstein? The research followed the descriptive approach, and the research sample included nine pieces selected from the second volume for teaching piano playing.
